Concerts

I tend to attend quite a few concerts at the Philharmonie (www.philharmonie.lu). Maybe one of my guests has had the pleasure and joy to have experienced some of the same artists. If so, I would be interested to hear from you. Concert tickets. to hold one in my hands portends emotion, thrills running the gamut from saddness, introspection, tears, identification to foot-stomping and endless applause. Heartfelt applause generally brings the performer as well as certain members of the audience to tears. A concert is magical.  It conjures up as many hidden scenes of recognition and releases as much emotion as there are spectators/listeners present. I try to compose brief reviews for the Philharmonie blog, but my identically brief spells of free time slow the process down quite a bit .I have an article dealing with Baroque music in the pipeline. Stay tuned.

Mahler's 6th! A true show-stopper. Seated in the second row, thanks to my gracious friend, Christiane, who invited me.
I grinned throughout the concert, so bottomless my joy!
